Thermal Desorption (TD)
Thermal desorption is a method of analyzing volatile components in gases. JSB offer various solutions in this field, both for sample collection and sample introduction. The options are summarized below:
Sampling
For sampling we have a number of solutions, including (automated) canisters, manual sampling consumables, automated “in the field” sampling, online sampling and specialized solutions for a laboratory environment. By using Tube-tagging, the traceability of the samples is ensured through to reporting.
Micro-Chamber/Thermal Extractor
Using the Micro-Chamber/Thermal Extractor (μ-CTE) you have the possibility of quickly screening emissions from materials in accordance with the latest regulations. Four or six samples up to a volume of 100 ml may be heated to a maximum temperature of 250°C with flow control. Hazardous substances released from the material are collected on thermal desorption tubes. Afterwards the tubes can be placed in the Markes thermal desorption unit.
